Ebay or scambay?
Ebay is used by a lot of scammers and boring people, for example I have just been rooting about (Not buying anything just looking) and I happend to stumble accross a dino egg going for nearly £300! The dino egg wasnt even in a room (the pic), they gave no information or anything. Its obviously a scam!. I know I know habbo have warned us all, but it goes in one ear out the other. Wow a throne for £10? or is it really? Dont take the chance, you cant even sue them for it as its pixalated furni, and is owned by sulake. Its funny to have a look at the obvious scams on that site, but my heart goes to the people that fell for them and had lost hundreds of pounds. Plus buying them is actually illegal. Post your comments/views or even tell us you stories about ebay, have you ever felt tempted to swipe your parents visa? Dont even take the risk.

EBay, it is only scambay for things like Habbo

Actually the dino sales I've watched on ebay I believe arn't scammes...both buyer and seller gave postive feedback..
-
I've never had any problems with ebay...ever...But then I've never bought anything like habbo furni before.
But yeah, always check feedback, and never go with new ebay users.
£300 for a dino egg?
Yikes. Utter craziness

Theres a dino egg 4 $200 aprox. £157, OMG Its pixels not somthing u take home its scambay

If you stumble across this, all you do is lose a load of money, and how are you ever going to get the furni from the site to your account? It's just plain mad in my opinion. Anyway, the scammers are complete idiots who think they can pull these things off.
Unfortunately, they do, and I feel sorry for the ones who lose a load of money.

Ebay is a large community of devoted and honest sellers and also non honest sellers, you need to make your own judgement of who you trust. Also, there is protection for people who dont receive their goods. I have been using ebay for years and actually with over 150 transactions I have yet to not receive anything that I paid for and possess 154 transactions with 100% positive remarks, I always investigate who Im dealing with before I decide to buy or sell to them. I myself have seen the rares sell on ebay which IS infact against the habbo way although when listed properly is not against the law. Information on any level can be sold for whatever price you choose and the rares are information stored on a server. I myself dont buy anything but dont see why its wrong if you choose to purchase rares instead of buy thousands of credits, if you do in fact decide to do this just make sure u pick someone with a good reputation and someone who appears legitimate.

You never know what you're getting into when you purchase Habbo furniture of eBay. All I can say is, you have to good judgement when deciding who to go with. Also, if you do decide to buy something off eBay, I highly recommend you don't buy someone's Habbo Hotel account. For one, it could easily be a scam, and you won't recieve the password, dob, e-mail etc. But second, the person could give you the account details, and then take back the account once you went on it.
