its ok, you got the shape but the dots n stuff make it look bad :s

Too much gradient blending, the gradient blending is only for corners, not every colour switch.

Hmm
Small Guide:
When you have what you want to make you remove all the colours inside it and only leave the black outline :) than you lighten up the black into grey. (this will make it easier to see) after that you take your pencil tool and you just draw lines on the places where the line should be.. this means like this:

( only a quick example )
And if you have all that than you just colour with the colours from the original image and you make sure it will look good ( shading and things )

I think that is an nice and decent guide from him, althou it is in dutch but i think the images speak for themself :D
