yeah they are better than wired ones, ive gone through 3 wired ones which have all broken and the wireless one my cousins had hes had for liek 6months and its still fine, although if someone speaks to loud it echoes back through cause mic is so close to the other part.

Yeah, my wired ones kept breaking, I got a wireless one and I've had it for almost a year with no problems :)
My wired one that came with my 360 is still going strong, even though somehow the wire slips into my mouth and I chew it when playing online lol. Ive had it since August 06 :D

I got wireless and it's alot better than wired imo.
I've had about 5 wired mics, the sixth one has held up for about 8 months now. Anyway on wireless, my mate had one and had nothing but problems, so i've stood clear of them.
wirelesss mics only sound good if your talking to some one else who is using one i have noticed if your talkin 2 some 1 whos on a wired one they cant never hear you
