Well I'll do long story & short.
They're running a trip at school on Friday from 17:30 until 22:30, to go and see and theater show down in Manchester. I thought, hey, I'll go for the laugh with my friends, why not? Don't do many school trips so I went for it. £17.00, fine, bit expensive considering it's just a show.
My friends say, yeah yeah, I'll do it. So then I hand my slip in and my friends say, sorry, I can't do it. Great! I go to the office the next day.
"Hey, I applied to go on a trip yesterday and handed the slip&money in, it was a trip with the drama department on Friday. Well, I've decided I don't want to go as none of my friends are going.
Receptionist: OK. So, what should I do about it?
Well, give me the money back.
Recep.: BRB. I'll ring the drama dept. 20 minutes later. OK. They said go and see Mrs. Jones to authorise a refund. I haven't got it anymore, she'll be in the staff room.
OK. Thanks. [Under breath] Useless....
STAFF ROOM
Random Staff Member: WHO DO YOU WANT?!
Erm, Mrs Jones.
RSM: WHO'S SHE? "/
Drama teacher?!
Drama Teacher: Mrs Jones isn't in today, whats wrong.
I want my money back for a trip.
DT: Find someone to take your place, then you can :)
But, I don't know anyone who wants to go?
DT: You'll get over it, that's life, it's hard. [Closes Door]"
So I tell my mum they won't give me my money back, my mum rings up and they say tell him to see Mrs Jones. So the next day Mrs Jones is in I have a word with her and she says nothing but "I'll get back to you" She didn't take my name or anything. So, I saw her at Lunch today AGAIN, and said so.. and she looked at me and went what? I said about the trip.
She said, your mum said the reason you don't want to go is because non of your friends are going. Not a good enough reason, sorry. [Walks off]
I text my mum, she's not giving me my money. My mum texts back "tell her you're getting it back and I'll be coming to see her tomorrow."
Then my mum rings me and says I'm at school in reception come and find me. I go to Reception. They've been looking for Mrs Jones for 15 mins she said, and she's annoyed. Mrs Jones finally shows up, she was on "bus duty". My mum says we want the money back and she says well tough, he's left it too late and my mum said but if Nick hadn't of gone you'd of had one empty seat anyway (she booked the seats in september) so it doesn;t matter. She said that if Nick hadn't of gone they'd of "pushed the other kids" into and tried to persuade them to do it. But it's too late now. My mum says fine. If you're not gonna help me I wanna see someone higher than you. She said that's Mrs whoever (the teacher who answered me at the door of the staff room) my mum said ok and walked off.
She rung the headteacher and now Mrs Jones might be getting fired and my mum rung the bank and stopped the cheque so they can't cash it anyway. :P LOL.
SHORT STORY;;
I applied to go on a trip, then didn't want to because my friends weren't, I asked for my money back 4 times, they wouldn't give me it back, my mum rang up and came in and had a go at this teacher, the teacher was being snotty wouldn't give my mum her money back so my mum said i wanna see someone higher than you. Drama teacher says that it's this other teacher you need to see, my mum says right, walks off, comes home, rings headteacher, the drama teacher might be getting fired for being so rude and she rung the bank and stopped the cheque.
Lmao.. it's probably funnier irl.
