They should allow for grievance or somthing. I think a bit insulting for his family - out with the old and in with the new.

Why do half of you care that they're carrying on? The whole world isn't going to stop for one person dying, people die all the time. If I died, my college wouldn't stop for a few weeks; they carry on. It's not his film, he's just an actor, there's no reason the whole film should be put on pause.

I think using Johnny Depp in such a condition would be a mistake; they're both too famous for it to look right, people would question why suddenely Heath Ledger turns into Johnny Depp lol. If it's a weird comedy then it might be okay.
Although I think if they're going to use a replacement actor, they should film the entire thing. Also, why have they highlighted that there was "less than two months of filming"? It usually only takes 6 or 7 months to film something anyway. That's like a 1/3.

oh also, he isn't "Replacing him" he's just being morphed into him through a magical mirror.. jeez..
