Why is there even a thread on this? Obviously vB.
Because im making a website for someone at work about hoildays etc and were not sure what forum to use so im trying to give her some differences between the forums so she can pick what one to get/buy..
Now, don't get me wrong, MyBB is great. It's the best if you're not spending any money, but it's not as good as vB by far. However, vB has a large price tag, when you could get forum software free.
So, I'd say vBulletin. Note that's my opinion, some people may think MyBB is better than vBulletin.
obviously vBulletin 'cos it has so many more features and more can be added that are way better than myBB ones.
MyBB its just great and simple
mybb is the best free software as its a lot like vb in my opinion
vb is the best paid in my opinion
Probly best starting with a mybb, if it takes off convert to a vb
