Reputation Removal (Not asking for one)

I'm not writing here to ask for a -rep to be removed

I read in the FAQ that you can't rep someone again until you rep 50 other people. If the -rep is removed, does that mean that person can then rep me again, without having to rep 50 different people first?

I'm asking because I got a pointless -rep, then reported it and it got deleted. But a day later I got another pointless -rep from the same person. I know it's possible for him to have repped 50 other people, but isn't it a bit unlikely... And I'm fed up of having to report his pointless -reps.

But I'm not here to complain about that person, I just wanted to know about what I said first.

Yes they can, I have been pointlessly repped by someone and they did it again a day later. They must of gone through alot of people to of done it otherwise. Although with this character, it wouldn't be a surprise.

It's not directed at moderators? It's an AGM, Adminstrator, editor questions... Not ALL mods will know, it's something only people with access to the ACP will know...

tbh that was not needed and I never pointless -rep/+rep pointlessly...

I always leave my name if I do but now I don't -rep much and I have a rough feeling that sum1 is going around pretending to say that I -repped them so no it wasn't.

When the reputation is removed it removes the limit I believe. It maybe that we will have to change the amount of reputation, so rather than removing it, we change it to a +0 so the points are added back on but the reputation stays put.

That will be the only way around it really.
