How do you get a cough?

I have a cough atm and I was just wondering how you actually got them and why do you cough lol

It's mucus in the throat on your cilli or sommint... You can catch it just by someone sneezing on you tbh, or touching something that someone else with a cold has. You don't have to come into direct contact I think.

Yes, its when mucus and flem build on the microscopic hairs in your throat.

well i lost my voice on wednesday and its still not back completely and ive had a cough and i think thats from all the dust in my house atm as its being renovated!

I think its your bodys way of trying to clear the mucus from your throat.

Yes, that's right, it's the body's natural mechanism and reaction to try to expel the mucus that builds up in your throat when you get a cough.
