That's happened to me once. The next day it was gone....
Both or my neighbours have cats so we often find 'bits' of birds around our garden :eusa_sick
We had a robin lay eggs in our shed once so fair enough we let them hatch etc then when they were learning to fly one went straight into the window lol, but a few where found dead, one was under our bin and a hawk or something took the others
we found our cat attackin one once so we had to scare my cat away, then the pigeon had some bleeding underneath his wing but we didnt really touch it. So we just scared it into a cage and took it to the vet who took care of it or w/e
put it outs of its misery

I found one like that that couldn't fly, so I put it in a box with the lid half shut (protection from cats) and gave it seed/bread/water, it didn't fly out the first day and was just laying down, next day I woke up and checked and it had flown away. :)
Awww, bless. I love it how there's another one helping it out - kinda cute. :)
That reminds me of like, last week when we had a teeny baby bunny in our garden, and our cat brought the bunny in our house dangling from his mouth and put him in our washing basket as a little nest type thing.
