So do I, but it's the numbers that are important and ATi's are better.

Any reason for going with i5 rather than i7?
Cheaper and performs as good as the same clock for clock. People have got the 2.66GHz i5s overclocked at like 4GHz on air as well :S.

yeh i seen the 650w corsair one i currently have that but decided to stick in the 750w just to be different :P
So you're getting the HX 650 then?

As last time i bought a cheaper sony DVD-RW a few days after working it runs horribly and loud so figured may aswell spend an extra tenner on 'better' one, it's only a tenner at the end of the day :P
Well ditch Sony and get the LG one I linked. I have a similar one and it's great. £27 for a DVD-RW drive is a rip off.

I'm getting sata cables as in my current computers i have 2 500GB hard drives and a cd drive but only 2 sata drives so have to switch about alot for backups or watching a dvd etc as the ones that XFX supplied with the motherboard didn't work so i ordered 3 just to have a few spare in case i ever needed them.
Ok, why expensive Belkin ones though. Save a few quid on these http://www.ebuyer.com/product/151963 or http://www.ebuyer.com/product/151962 depending on the length you need (18" is generally plenty)

any ideas on pump/res?
No, I don't know about liquid cooling. I'd just get a decent air cooler TBH.
