for those who think its 14, im sure its 17.

6+3+5 = 14
and Gretel mentions another 3, so 14+3 = 17

EDIT: Yup im absolutely sure its 17.
there are 3 stickies on the trail, one says 6, another 3 and the last 5. That makes 14. BUT, if you ask gretel, she mentions ANOTHER 3, and 14+3=17

That is the reason its the hardest, a lot of people didnt ask gretel about the birds which is why they got 14
