That logo is pretty cool. Although the red glow on the record is horrible, maybe swap it for a very sutle black glow to make it stand out from the background.
I think it looks nice, esp the fonts. As Alex said, maybe try changing the red glow to a black glow and see what looks better.
The background of this splash page is the most positive aspect of the design.
I can't say I am too keen on the logo/text, as it comes across as quite unprofessional and lacking in latest design trends.

I love the splash page but it seems very blurry and my eyes hurt when looking at the logo too much :\
