capture cards

i think ive done a thread like this before but im just wondering......

im looking at a dazzle (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pinnacle-Daz...4996484&sr=8-2)

im just wondering: is it good or crap

like can it record in a good hd or will it be fuzzy if it gets uploaded to youtube and stuff

I've heard good things about Dazzle, defiantly worth a purchase if your into making montages or whatever, i'd personally splash out like a fiver for a cheap one off eBay lol.

Well, I've heard Dazzles are good but they aren't HD. If you want HD consider buying a PVR, google it.

There are tons of youtube tutorials on how to render dazzle clips in pretty decent quality, of course it won't be in HD but I've seen some that are pretty decent

No, Dazzle's are not HD. You can make them better quality, but not HD.

I have Ezcap atm and i also have dazzle and ezcap is better performance quality

so there's only 2 capture cards that record in hd?

HD PVR and the Black Magic Intensity Pro (I think records in HD). The Black Magic can also stream on the internet if you're interested in that. There might be others but those are the only ones I know

well the PVR is like a fortune (for me) and seeing how im not seananners 1337 yet and only starting up, I think ill buy the £60 dazzle.
