i dont think she will die in the fire, it just seems too extreme for an old woman :P.

also the best teaser thing has to be when they took her slapping and made the eastenders theme xD

Gonna miss ol' Peg. I'm not convinced she will die either to be honest. And if Phil sets the Vic alight then surely he's going out of it

she certainly way an iconic figure in the soap and will be missed by many viewers!

I can't wait for these episodes, gonna be great! Eastenders won't be the same without her. Also, is she coming back or leaving for good?

also as far as im aware shes leaving for good considering shes pretty much in her 70s. I except pat and dot will leave soon. I hope pat and peggy have one of their lol moments before she leaves :D

Sam, she doesn't look to bothered though.. hmm. Also, this episode will be 40 minutes (why not an hour?) and will clash with Corination Street, they done it just to beat Corrie's ratings. :P

And can't wait to hear the peggy theme!

Peggy has been making a desperate attempt to get Phil clean again by locking him upstairs in The Vic and ignoring his pleas to be let out. However, when Phil makes an escape and Peggy tries to stop him from stealing more money from the business, the pair have a huge showdown.

As their argument reaches its climax, Phil threatens to burn down the pub. Though Peggy thinks her son is only bluffing, he throws down a lit match and she's horrified as they're surrounded by flames.

The fire soon spreads and spirals out of control, prompting everyone inside to try to escape.

Will Peggy and Phil make it out alive? And what about the rest of Albert Square's residents?

Looks great, can't wait for it. Peggy deserves to die/leave in a way that people will remember.
