Bleh IKR. But with my experimenting, it seems that TNT tends to destroy ore blocks without dropping the ore :/ And to be honest, I've only used TNT on the last few layers. All the rest was hand done with a bajillion stone picks and shovels!
Congratulations! Keep looking though because surprisingly, there's a lot down there. Are you at the bottom now? When you are, make a hub and start branch mining. :)
How do you get back up?
I'm resentful of diamond because for how long it takes to find it doesn't last nearly long enough :P
Yeah I'm a few blocks from Adminium. I get back up via staircase (you can see it winding up in the first screenshot, on the left). And yeah I heard about branch mining. Will give it a go.
congratulations! I find the best way to easily find diamond is to explore and find a large cave network, you'll always come accross some eventually!
