Asking for rep was against the rules last time I checked, if we started giving out insane amounts of reputation the reputation system would get out of hand. Most users rep power is under 10.
took me a while to realise what you were on about :)
I see what you mean about 20 being low for a competition, if it was higher it'd give more people an incentive to take part :)
I think people would be more interested in the vip anyway.
If the prize is creds/rep in comps . Giving just 10/15/20 rep isn't much of an incentive, to the non habbo users especially.
I personally would enter any competition that offered 200 rep points :P
i can see where you are coming from. 20 rep may not seem much and perhaps on occasion more could be offered. the problem is, i think 200 would be too high. 200 is a lot in terms of rep and in many cases would push someone up more than one level on the rep ranks scale, whereas building it up gradually is more exciting and meets the purpose better. in this comp i think the main prize is the vip, and the reputation is just an added bonus, moreso than a main prize. perhaps on very special comps around 50 would be more suitable to encourage people to enter, however I dont think it should go too high and other prize alternatives be used instead, since I personally think of rep as an reward or expression of appreciation rather than just a prize.
I seem to remember 50 being a number that was used for winners quite a bit, so I would suggest that. Depends on how often you give it out, but if you get more entries as a result, it's unlikely that the same person will always win. I agree that 200 is too high, 100 might even be too high.
Yeah i think 200 is way too high, although 50-75 sounds pretty good,
tbh 20 is pretty low in my opinion although you do get vip and stuff aswell
Personally, i would prefer 50-75 rep points, VIP alone doesnt inspire me to enter tbh
