Reminders
Hey,
I thought it would be a good idea to be able to write notes down in your User CP so like 'Remeber to apply for forum mod' etc So you can write notes to remind yourself of things to do. Because if you do it on a peice of paper, you could lose it but on your User Cp its all save. SO i think it'd be a good idea if you added this OR do you already have this???? Oo
Thanks.

I think a notes feature would be a great idea. The odd time i have to remember something for hxf, i just keep it in my head and sometimes forget.

It's a good idea, but then you'd need something to remind you, a bit like the PM notice when it says you've got a new PM.
Maybe it could be more of a "reminder" than a "note". So it says at the top: You have 1 reminder or w/e.

I think this would be a good idea, you could get a notification or something when you've gotta do something :D

just to add to my previous post. You could have say a time limit - so for example, if you want to enter a competition, you put
"Enter [competition name]" then have a time limit set so it pops up maybe 24 hours before?
And if it's applications obviously just set it for like every few days so they don't close before you remember x]

I completely agree with the above posts. This system should be brought in with a reminders type thing and this would be helpful for department managers on when to open applications and for normal users so they can on when job applications close.

OO I really like this idea, would be very useful especially for meeting deadlines, within deparments (such as writing comps, articles, hosting an event), to make sure you don't fall behind! I like the idea of having a small reminder, like the popup things in the same way that VMs and PMs work.

To be honest I just use my sticky notes and wordpad that works fine :P but if it's something you all really want then I don't see why we can't look into it. Let's see what everyone else has to say too :)

I think it's a good idea even though I doubt won't use it because i'll probably forget that it's there, but like Nicola, I use notepad on my laptop and I have a mini whiteboard in my room which is useful for important things that I need to remember. I like the idea of getting the PM, it's like setting an alarm, so the PM gets sent automatic at a set time.

I have a folder called 'to do' and write myself a pm! It works. :)
