Barclays Numeric test
I have a telephone interview on Thursday for Barclays and the lady on the phone said the first part is a Numeric test.
I was just wondering how difficult the questions would be? I'm fairly decent at maths but not say A-Level standard.
I'm so worried about this part of the interview cause I really want this job.

I'm taking a shot here and say it'll be a few questions involving sums such as 137+289 and probably a number sequence or two.
-
I am certain that there will be no A-Level maths-based questions on there, or even close to, so I wouldn't worry! :)
It'll probably just be questions involving simple to perhaps advanced addition, multiplication etc. as stated above. ^

Surely you could cheat if it was over the phone? Loud speaker, Piece of Paper and a Calculator are sure to be a winner.

Thanks guys, I should be fine then!

hey Alex..hope your interview went well. I have mine tomorrow, can you please tell me what kind of questions did they ask and were the maths questions difficult. Your help wil be appreciated. Thanks.

Mines tomorrow as well, Thursday at 3pm! Need to do all my research tonight about the interview cause it's like 40 minutes long.
Numeric Test
then
Questions about customer service and something else
then
Questions about Barclays as a company

40 minutes ! I thought it will be around 20 mins. Anyhow my interview is at 1pm. Any idea what sort of Numeric Test it would be ?

When i've googled it, it's just basic maths questions such as If a person deposits £350 then withdraws £75 how much would be left, and other questions similar to this. The maths part is not what I'm worried about, it's the other questions, i've been rejected from MANY jobs this year so I must be doing something wrong.

I believe it should be basic competency based questions on customer service. I will let you know what questions they asked me so that atleast you have few hours to prepare. All the best.
