What is the maximum amount of something that can be stacked?

How much money or how many runes can be stacked in a pile?

Just curious because I don't know what happens when you get billions.

That is the max length of a 32bit integer. As far as I know. You won't be able to put anymore in the bank.

yeah, generally you won't need much more than max cash but some items exceed the value of max cash so i guess it does kinda suck.

some people store their cash in the g.e. using phats though (worth 4-5bil in street value i think):
