My dad hasn't taken his out yet. If you have one that's still valid then you're still taxed until it ends (and don't need to display it as far as I know).Quote:

The issue with their website isn't due to people buying it online, it's due to the amount of people viewing the information on it.
It's been purchasable online for years and I imagine most people do use their website to purchase it (older generation will probably use post office, but younger people online).

I'm just going to leave mine on until it expires. I'm not really that bothered by it.
The best thing about this is that my Ford tax disc holder is now going to be a parking permit holder... when I pluck up the courage to remove it :P
So, because my car is taxed for another couple of months still, I can just take it off without doing anything? I don't have to notify anyone or anything like that?
Not noticed anyone taking their tax disc off their car, I would be too scared to do it.
