What about a current issue that you're interested in?
e.g homophobia, sexism, etc.
that would give you plenty to talk about

I did about my life and everything from childhood to teenage years when I had to one of these. Even if your life seems really mundane and boring, talking about something that's meaningful to you always draws people in.
When you show emotion and feeling, it really bumps up those grades. ;)

General election (or the state in general). Maybe not super fun, but easy to get lots of information for and there's a lot of information to get plus it's fairly useful to know.
Industrial Revolution.
Privacy on the internet or social media in general.
Why Maths is clearly a superior subject.
The Enlightenment.
Racism in old Disney cartoons.
Shift of culture over the years.
The lower supply of cocoa leading to chocolate price increases.
The monarchy.
History of the local area.
idk just spouting **** out my arse

Do a presentation on the horrors of the European Union. Jk.
Obviously do something you have an interest/strong opinion on though. And pick something controversial where you know you'll have arguments/debates arise from it because nobody wants to hear both sides to an issue where everybody in the room is in agreement with IE racism is bad.
