Yes, meat contains fat, as does milk, cheese and other dairy products which you admitted to eating. And there is a nearly nill chance you will get disease, i mean, the meat is cleaned, then frozen, then cooked at a high temperature. Yes, you can get salmonella, but that's from inpreperation of your meat.
And i was wondering. Many veggies don't eat meat because of the conditions it's kept in. I eat free range meat, heck it costs a lot but i still know my chicken roamed a field, didn't eat food to make it fat, and had a chew toy to play with (it said on the packet :o). Where as your dairy products, who said your cow wasn't kept in a shed and fed on foods to make it produce more milk. There is no guarentee on a milk bottle.
Sorry rant over. Mentor has already proved that veggies are equal, or less healthier than meat eaters. I mean, fgs, heard of the food chain? *starts ranting again* - We, humans, are designed to eat meat AND vegtables, look how we are designed. If we were designed to eat just veggies we would have much more molars than other teeth to crunch, but we don't. Few (maybe no?) mammals are just vegetarians.
I'm not against veggies, my best friend is a veggie, but when somebody turns around and says i don;t eat meat so i'm healthy that ticks me off.
And for the record, being good at running has nothing to do with this whole topic - so you have a good structure, i bet you've always been like that, i bet you didn't suddenly turn muscley like popeye when he ate spinache.
Rant over. I don't think anyone will change their mind about eating anything so we should definitly stop convincing each other to become veggies/meaties. Sorry for being offensive to veggies, i wub you really, i do...
