I don't know what you mean
Well, since today, Gay/Lesbian people can now marry each other. [But not in religious terms]
And I posted to see your views on it.
Are you against it? Or for it?
I'm for it, they deserve a chance just like everyone else!
I agree, xD.
Nothing wrong with them, they are normal people, who should be treated the same.
I'm for it :)
every girl and boy have thier dreams of that special day :)
it doesnt matter if your getting married to someone of the same gender
I wonder why its only just been legalised...
Dunno.. probably legal complications, and also what the general public would say! And the government is probably a bunch of homophobic donkey's.. who didn't want the law to be passed
Yeah, alot of the UK are homphobic, sad really...
I think they deserve it. I think they take a lot of stick being gay and they have a right to be married. I think they only just legalised it because people have only just come to terms with it and to be honest we dont know who it might effect by this in there later years
Yeah it's the guys who hate gay men because they seem to think that all gay men will fancy them i mean wth! Anyway.. i dunno.. i think this might get alot off criticism.. specially from the homophobic general public, but gay ppl deserve the chance just as much as straight couples :)
I don't have a problem with it to be honest, everyone bodys human and deserves happiness and a family no matter what your sexuality.
Yeah what everyone said. :D Everyone should have a chance to get married,
not only straight people. There's nothing wrong with gay/lesbian marriage.
Well, I'm glad we dont have too many homephobic people on this forum :'D

I agree, they should be allowed to marry just like straight couples :D
Yeah, what Mit said, I'm just not smart enough to put it in long words :'DQuote:

I think it's great, gay people should have the same rights as straight people. They should be allowed to marry and to adopt. I know that a lot of people are against adoption for gay people but I think that as long as a child has two loving parents who can provide for him/her then it should'nt be a problem.
England is still a very homophobic country. Sometimes me and my friends go to a gay nightclub (I have some gay friends) and the club is completely hidden away because the owner is scared of hate crimes.
America doesn't have Gay Marriages... They should be allowed to marry, but not adopt. If you want to have a child... Well, you know...
Imagine growing up with two dads or moms? I'm sorry but that in my eyes would be torture! Not only because of the ridicule the child would face but I think a child really needs two parents a male and a female theres a balance there that I think is healthy for children.
Don't think by my views about this that I have anything against gays and I think England on the whole is very accepting of gays, other cultures religions etc. Alot more than america anyways...
Well, I dont think its a problem gay and lesbians adopting.
Well there shouldnt be.
I agree with that.Quote:

There will be no more than there has been for 100's of years its just that more and more people are honest about it. I think in general as people get older they become more mature and understanding and the 'bullying' stops. On the whole I don't think there is that much discrimination towards gay communities in the UK but hey I could be wrong.Quote:

IT IS WRONG I see this stuff wrong, what has the world come to, political correctness "oh noes we better not insult gays so we will let them get married" and all that cr.ap, I mean it's not right, A relationship should be kept man+women none of your "hom'ose'xual" ****. BRING THE BNP INTO POWER. If they wan't to eradicate bullying in schools, why are they going to let gays adopt, if the boy/girl friend finds out the kid has 2 mums or 2 dads, The bullying will happen! The bullied kid may see haveing 2 mums or dads normal, but nobody else would.
So you think gays and lesbians adopting is wrong, and you think marriage is to?Quote:

I know where your coming from, but my mate at schools mum is a lesbian now, and they dont get bullied much. I see where yor coming from becuase I thopught he would have got bullied, but he didnt ;o
So by this post you have basically stated your racist and homophobic.. people can't help the way they are, its people like you that should be 'removed' from this country. I agree that gays should not be allowed to adopt as I belive it will hurt the child in many ways but a civil partnership doesn't affect anyone else.Quote:

I'm for it, they are the same as two straight people but two people of the same gender. Nothing can stop them.
From what people have said about adopting, They is people who have 2 mams/dads...... And they probably got brought up how they normally would.....
Well, everyone has their views on it, obviously....
