Considering i live in cornwall. the only things that get washed up is dead dolphins. :s Due to pear trawlers.. nothing like a whale.

To me i see a few fake bids.

and their is about 20 bid retractions. also users been banned. so yeh. quite alot of fakeness.

Overall their is no proof that this is legit. and could be pbought from a local hardware/gardeing shop..

Seen it in the newspaper the other day and it was £6,200, now it's this!

And I think these are serious bids aswell, as the funds will be used for donations and to better their services so next time this happens they might actually save something

Dont know if its posted due to not reading all of the thread but on Gmtv or another news channel said all the money gose to the divers who helped out i think thats right not sure ;S
