It was a bit obvious in the end that someone was going to be found out and charged with stealing the vast amounts of money. Just think of the situation, it was obviously someone who had planned it for quite a while and so obviously had boasted to friends and people around them about what they planned to do.
If the people that have been charged were just normal people before hand, they would obviously have a normal income and then suddenly after they had done the robbery they would have had a sudden jet of money into their back pocket. So they would probably not know what they were going to do with the money and therefore people would notice a different change in behaviour.
For example someone who couldn't afford a car could suddenly now go out and buy a brand new sports car. By doing this it would cause suspision amongst others.
It is probaby just a case of the person who comited the crime being stupid and bascially showing / telling everyone that they now had fifty million pounds out of no where.
I wonder how many people actually get away with a large amout of money. They could just plan flights to go to spain, Rob a bank quickly get the plane and get out of the Country. Well obviously it won't be that easy but I wonder how easy it would actually be. Hmm, reminds me of The Italian Job.
There have been many examples of this in the past where people have stolen money from other countries to then get back to the united kingdom. For example in the lastest case on watching a news article I saw a security expert saying that they could have had the 50 million out of the country within 1 hour by boat.
Maybe that Security Expert better change Job. :pQuote:

Well, these are the lucky ones.

Just saw this :o "They robbed a bank without a single gunshot being fired and got away with everything."

"In the past six months, tunneling bank robbers in South America have broken world records of crime, snatching millions of dollars from banks and making their getaways through narrow passages beneath busy city streets" :o
i thought they buried the money on a farm or somethin.
Haaaa my friends older brother got held in custody because he fit the description of one of the robbers he is free now though m0n
It must be hard for you to move to Canada, leaving all your friends and family. And where you live now, you must know it off the back of your hand, moving to somewhere new will be hard, as you won't know anywhere. Also an American school will probably be different.Good luck!

Why would you want to steal it? You can't spend it on big things, it's too obvious. Plus, you'd spend your whole life on the run.
