I really like this girl at my school but Iv made a few small moves like saying hello and stuff and iv known her since infants at school but im finding trouble in "making the next step" i dont know what the next step is. A friend of mine ses everyone knows how to flirt but i just dont :(
Any SERIOUS tips would be appreciated :) and repped :)

We share intrests , music mainly but its getting teh chance to discuss them apart from msn... I dont get chance to sit by her in any lessons :(
Break Periods ?
Its hard making a first move lmao. Just smile at her alot in lessons or anywhere you see her, dont give her a massive cheesy grin 'cos thats just scary :D Do a bit of detective work and find out where she hangs out, and what she likes. Then at lunch, break or somewhere else accidently bump into her :P You say you talk to her on msn, so you could get to know her over MSN so you dont have to go up to her and talk! If you talk over MSN a lot with her, maybe shell come and talk to YOU :rolleyes:

Just be really nice to her for a couple of weeks. Be REALLY nice, eg ask her if she wants a sweet alot etc..
Talk to her alot ask her if she needs anything you can help with. :)
Yh i would generally say do the stuff mentioned above, try and find out about her interests, weneva u meet her smile. If she drops her books etc... help her pick them up, u know general stuff like that. And hang around with her and her mates, yet don't do it too often so that you annoy them.
Yup i agree. If you keep trying to hang around with her and her mates shell think youre some sad loser who hangs around her as you have nobody else to hang out with, and she will most probably think you're desperate :D Cos it is annoying if you wanna have a girly giggle/chat or summat and some boy keeps popping up everywhere ROFL. </3Quote:

Ok the same thing happened to me (except I didn't know the guy since I was a baby). What I did was get people to talk for me, but he got angry and he said that he wanted me to talk to him face to face. It turned out to be a good thing.
I suggest you tell the girl (if she doesn't know) that you like her. If you don't then it's just a waste. Also a tip from the guy I like: "WHat's the point of liking someone if you can't talk to them?" That's the thing that got me motivated to talk to him more often.
Trust me id love to tell her that i like her but i think she would get the impression that im asking her out and it could put her off, in my opinion i need to like talk a bit more first and feel comftable with talking to her :)Quote:

ok, i am gonna try help with what works for me. First get to know her friends like speak to them more in class etc etc. At lunch breaks or any break try gain there attention or somethign (any waypossible lol it works tho) speak out in class more and after answering see if she makes any like noticable movements cause shes seem to do certain things if they like the person or not (dunno seems to happen here) try get close to her in lunch queues or something, btw dont do all of these random ideas cause then she may think your stalking her :p

Anyway, I think it's unfair for your friends to say you 'just can't' flirt or whatever, as it's not like a hobby you practice, but of course you will get better at it the more you do. By flirting, don't go up and slap her on the back side or anything, otherwise you'll end up getting the jail ;), but just make comments...
You say you talk to her on msn, so you could maybe just really get talking to her, and ask her if shes liking anyone at the moment or that, and just make sly little comments to sort of let her know you like her, and you should be able to tell if she likes you back. Compliment her also, tell her she looked good today at school or something, and just try and get chatting to her more often! :p

Thanks everyone for your tips but it turns out i never needed them, all i needed was to let her know you like her, 2 hours of boring school play later i go out with her, im tempted to close thread but my thread might help other people so ill leave it
