In my personal opinion you shouldn't ask her until you know you love her.
If you love her then you would, but 16 is too young....
Far too soon. I'd wait untill you were atleast 20.
Too Soon like the above poster said why ask her to marry you when you have alot more years left in you to see if its right.
To read my honest opinion, I would say do what you feel is right but personally I would say not to marry until at least 19 because you are done school then and you are free to do what you want unless you took a dentist degree and what not.
But doesn't she live really far away?
You think? And also that means that she "thinks" so too.. far too young anyway. Me and my (now ex-) girlfriend just split up today, after being together for 14 months. We thought we'd make it to marriage and whatnot, but we were too young to really know. You still have college, maybe uni in front of you, and loads of life-changing decisions to make.Quote:

Thanks for all the opinions guys (and girls), I know I love her.. Dunno why I said think lol. Yah she lives quite far away, but she's almost eighteen so we're moving in together soon we were talking about it the other night.
We've been together almost 10 months.

I know this is just an opinion, but marriage is the real deal. One false move can destroy it. Whether you KNOW your relationship is stable enough, i'm going with the others; wait at least a couple of years.

Marriage will bring to the conclusion of sex .. having babies at the age is 16 is not nice. Too much work, and you're not experienced. I suggest you give your relationship more time to develop, an early marriage can end up a disaster. So, do what you want, but I hope you make a clear and smart choice, there isn't a way back from a marriage, you'll break her heart if so. But hey, don't take my advice alone, follow your heart and do what you desire. I'm just telling you, being a teen mom\dad is hard work, as you both lack in experience. I'm not saying that you guys will have sex and have a baby, I'm just insisting, most early marriages turned out become disasters because they lacked in experience and all they wanted was just sex. But hey, follow your heart and do what's right! You should listen to Follow Your Heart by DHT, it's a great song, I think it'll help you decide. God bless.
its far too soon. You need to live your life. I know you dont want to lose her, but if she really loves you, she wont. I dont think you should, but just hang on for a few years.

Well I think give it another year or so. I'm engaged and I'm 18 and Karl's 19 and we decided in the early years (16 and 17) that we'd wait at least one more year to see how things go.
So in my personal opinion, give it another year hun :D

At 16 you should be having fun and getting to know her etc not getting married.
Getting married at 16 is something Jack would do.
