I need clothes but when my parents try and buy me some they are allways horrible and something you wouldnt be caught dead in
But i dont want to tell them because it might affend them

Just say it's not something that you'd normally wear and you'd like something a bit different!
Maybe tell them the sort of things you'd like to wear.. or go shopping with them and point it out yourself. It doesn't have to be expensive to be nice, I do a lot of my clothes shopping at Topman, Next, those sorts of places. You can pick up some nice stuff without having the added £30 because of the design on it.
