Fine for me, i only logged in to see if i was 'hacked' as everyones being hacked.

Meh ill try again now. I have tried 5 different world all getting the same answer.

I used to get it alot, check the forums as they may have the reason (the last time it happened to me it was because the servers went down). :)

Yeah I just did, something about backing up the servers? No-one is really sure however it does seem like its only affecting certain people.

Thats it then. give it about half an hour now as thats what they're doing, when its all back the servers will come back to 'life' and it will take ages to login due to everyone else *trying* to do te same.

Been trying to log in for an hour now, this is sooo annoying cos im like 40k xp from 76 fishing :(

Tis' fine. a load of errors as i messed it up copiling v 1.5 into the v1 so i lost all the modifications, but thats it i suppose, won't take that long to fix. xD

Sorry for double post but:

29 April 2006 - Login problems
One of our 8 loginservers has suffered a hardware failure. We are currently in the process of attempting to restore the system. This means 1 in 8 of our players will be unable to login.
We take full offsite backups of the system every 24 hours, and also have another backup system on a secondary harddisk which keeps everyones state as of 15 mins ago.

We are currently trying to restore the '15 minute' backup so nobody loses more than 15 minutes of playtime. That part of the hardware is still working , but copying the data to our standby replacement server is running slowly.

It might be a few more hours before we manage to restore the system on new hardware, but we feel this is better than players rolling back a full 24 hours.

In the meanwhile if you have another account you might want to try using that instead, or just wait whilst we try to restore the system.

Please accept our apologies for this outage. We are doing everything we can to restore the system.
