TooClose Tunes - Ends 10th February

Every February 14th, across the habbo hotels, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. Can you write a piece of poetry to mark this special day?, it doesn't have to be about a loved one, it could well be about a piece of furni you love ;)

To enter this competition you must be a registered member of our forum. Habbox is giving all its members (NOT STAFF) the opportunity to enter this competition.

The Prize's:-

Timothy Winters

Timothy Winters comes to school
With eyes as wide as a football pool.
Ears like bombs and teeth like splinters:
A blitz of a boy is Timothy Winters.

His belly is white, his neck is dark,
And his hair is an exclamation mark.
His clothes are enough to scare a crow
and through his britches the blue winds blow.

When teacher talks he won't hear a word
And shoots down dead the arithmetic-bird.
He licks the patterns off his plate
And he's not even heard of the Welfare State.

Timothy Winters had bloody feet
And he lives in a house on Suez Street.
He sleeps in a sack on the kitchen floor
And they say there aren't boys like him any more.

Old Man Winters likes his beer
and his missus ran off with a bombardier,
Grandma sits in the grate with a gin
And Timothy's doesed with an aspirin.

The Welfare Worker lies awake
But the law's as tricky as a ten foot snake.
So Timothy Winters drinks his cup
And slowly goes on growing up.

At Morning Prayers the Headmaster helves
For children less fortunate than ourselves,
And the loudest response in the room is when
Timothy Winters roars ''Amen!''

One winters day i was walking along thinking about habbo,
i came to a conclusion that love is all around habbo,

I have a little story,

I walked into school,

Hi im new to habbox and this is my first Habbox poem but i won other habbohotel poems b4 so might as well give this a go :)

This Poem is Delicated to my dear Natelie :eusa_ange

My imagination reaches transversely through both time and space
When night falls, I gently lay my hand on her beautiful face
I would flutter anywhere, through freezing Boston, soar her way
To nest with her, I would come to stay,
I can hear the echo of her voice, laughter so clear,
What a shame I am so far away … my toes are reaching … I don't stand near!
We are kissing … her loving hands caressing
I open my eyes … to reveal such a magnificent blessing.

By celestial intervention or natures vigor
I found my providence, my angelic lover
A divine angel sent from dreamland to my nest
Through valleys, twisting roads and mountains four wings are now at rest
Our paths had a decade ago parted,
My heart is now at rest knowing our souls have again united
I have breath in her scent, thrilled by the reminiscence of her touch,

This is a story about a boy.
A boy who is very cheerful,
Yet deep in his heart, he was sad and lonely.
He tries to make friends with a call "Oi!"

Even his own bleoved parenrs thinks he is strange!
No matter, what or how he tries to talk to them, he gets rejected.
He was hoping for someone to be with him,
He wants to be loved and maybe even get a girl with a name, Angie.

Finally the day had came,
He met the one and only, Angie.
She had a flirtatous smile,
"I'm going to love you, like it's the last night on earth" She said like a dame.

They both knew, that this is love!
Days and days pass by.
The love was reaching the end,
She flew away like a dove.

Once again, his heart was stabbed like a knife.
"Search, again and again", he would say.
No matter, how far were they apart,
She promised him " I would love you, until the day i die!"

It seems like the whole world has been touched by a cupid's arrow, even the Earth's sphere shape has been turned into a Love shape, couples from everywhere, holding hands, ladies holding flowers on their hands, beside them, a caring husband. Oh, how lovely that would be, if the world was coloured pink on that day. Would flowers bloom? Oh yes, especially much. Would couples bloom? That's if the guy gives the girl a rose. Oh, Ive never heard that before...But whatever it is, Valentime's the best day to let your loved one know that she has been loved by you.
