YES! Mrs Doubtfire 2 is coming this year! Robin Williams has sighned up and a lot of the original cast.
The Story is:
The Youngerst daughter (The girl that was in Matilda), is off to collage and Daniel wants to keep an eye on her, so he suits up as Mrs Doubtfire
and keeps a job at the collage.
And it's out December 2006

The script has aparantly been scrapped a it wasnt good enough. However they are looking for a new script but this will delay the film until 2007.
I actually doubt it will be made, so many sequels get cancelled.

I think it would be great to see all the original kids together in it. I loved the original, I've seen it so many times yet it still makes me laugh :)
Well, I liked the idea that Mara Wilson [sp?] is going to be in it, and the original cast. Thing is that... well its a sequel and its going to come out on DVD instead of movies like all sequels.

So the script is scrapped?
I heard a couple of months ago that Robin denied a Mrs Doubtfire 2 being made/any chance of one being made. I don't think any of the original kids still act, Mara was in a show last summer but shes currently studying at (New York?) University. I think it could come out at the cinema, Mrs Doubtfire was a big hit so who knows..
Wow, I'm so gunna see that as the origional Mrs. Doubtfire was awesome!
