No Prob Now :D
What a scam! Do you live with anyone that might have called them? When were all the calls supposed to have taken place?
No, I live on my own. :(
All the calls took place within 2 hours.
No-one has been to my house in the last month. Except the gas man. LOL
Hmmm, weird - definately worth reporting to someone, maybe BT and/or Habbo, but I'm not too sure what to do in a situation like that, call the BT helpline or something I suppose?
I blame the gas man!
He must be some Habbo addict or something... :p
Lol yeah! :p
BT say we will look into it and start a investigation.
Report to watchdog filed
Report to trading standards filed. (I didn't really know wether it was trading standards but it was purchasing something)
lol, i wouldnt have known what to do, probably just phoned bt
Same thing happened to me, only on a smaller scale.
Buy the credits another way.
Isn't impossible to make 636 calls to habbo in 2 hours each call last at least 1 minute so thats 60 seconds = 1 min = 1 call so x2 is 600 calls and the calls are easy over a minute. :p
You Would Of Had.Quote:

My friend had the same thing.
They didn't had to pay a thing since it came out to be a glitch.
Contact Habbi about this and it will be solved ;)
:O thats alot i say sue the Gas man... :P
Or contact habbo and ask nicely ??
lol
It is rare, but possible, that if you use dial up internet, that someone can hack into the modem and make calls to any number worldwide. I am unaware of how it works, but in the paper today actually there was a report of this happening in my neighbourhood.
Oh and - i didnt even get the credits
And yes, i do use dial up so it prob is possible!

Thats strange. As everyone else says it would have taken around 3 hours, plus they only let you call up 10 times each day..
BT may have got it wrong.
Contact them?
It would actually take over 10 and a half hours to make 636 calls, assuming each call lasts one minute.
Janeh: I just looked on the Habbo site and I couldn't find the bit about them only allowing a certain number of calls per day. I'm sure there is though because I'm sure I saw it before. Do you know where it is?
OK Guys, BT said it was a 'Glitch' in their system and are sorry. Plus they will not charge for ANY of the calls made to that number that month (Means the 10 times i did call was free - w00t w00t!)
Cheers
Ollie
contact BT, if nothing is acheived there, try and pursue legal action, this is alot of money to lose.
maybe you sleep walk and buy creds???????????
DED.MAN.LIVING, I think you posted that RIGHT after i posted that BT said they would not charge me for ALL calls made to that number this month (meaning 100 creds free w00t w00t)
Ollie
Woo great result Ollie! Well done!
Yeah congrats, I just wanted to say [seeing as im a little late] that you can SUPPOSEDLY only buy 100 credits a week O_o!
:o
