But all the innocent people... it'd be okay if there was a big warning on the homepage.... I don't know why they didn't just put World 111 offline.

I don't think he should get his account back.

He caused people to loose millions, quit the game and become very annoyed and pee'd off.

He also broke the rules. So I think he should be permmed.

I'd have done exactly the same thing in his place. Jagex should have tested construction FAR more before releasing it, do you have any idea how many bugs got released with it? They should have put the server offline and didn't, so they're partly to blame. Also, it's not his fault people decided to be idiots and follow the insane person slaughtering everyone left, right and center in their best items, basically they were asking for it. I agree he shouldn't be unbanned as yes, he abused a bug, but not with how Jagex dealt with the issue and the fact they attempted to cover it up. I just wish I had been online when it happened to join in.

"A timeless classic this will become, This will be spoken about for years to come in the history of RS and possibly gaming"

ok maybe it will be spoken about for a while in RS, but in the whole gaming world?? you think anyone from any other game gives a crap what happened? :rolleyes:

he's not a legend, I could have killed people too if I was given the power (and if they couldnt attack back of course lol), he was just lucky and he shouldnt be praised for dumb luck and thinking only about his needs like he said here:

yeh i know but throughout the interview he says he would give the items back witch i think he would but hes a pker and it was natural instinct (sp)? i mean jakes got a point but oh well if they got there items back then would they not start again if they got them back anyway they could of put world 111 offline i dont see why not lol

Sorry to say but he is a legend? Runescape wise anyway. I highly doubt anyone will go on a killing spree outside of the wilderness again.

Its Runescapes fault more than his, you cant expect someone to think 'Hey i can pk out of the wildy, time to go to bug report :s '

He is a legend. People don't have to be legends for good reasons. It's just this will be remembered for years to come.

And he plays Diablo II, i think. Duriel is the boss on the second act :P

Btw, interview with a killer is a bit extreme a thread name? All pkers are killers, in fact most players kill NPC's too.

sure, why not, which is my point. i wouldnt expect to be called a legend afterwards... its just silly because anyone of us would do the same thing, so its not really that worthy of 'legend status', he didnt accomplish anything super

I don't think he's a legend, but respect him for going ahead and killing loads of people even though he knew he would get banned.
IMO, no one on runescape is a legend, it's a game people play for fun.. god..

Would you respect him if he'd kill you while you were walking/running by in your white phat for example? I think not. He killed people for way too long..at least an hour? he could just kill few rich people and stop but he didn't. He's sad, the end. He got no respect what so ever from me.

If someone walked past you with a phat, you right clicked and there was an attack button, I think everyone would do the same as he done. :)
So what if he killed people for ages, people pk for ages in the wildy, the only difference is there was a much better reward this time..

Yes I never say I wouldn't? but he over-reacted with killing everybody? he could kill few people with phats..I think he'd be rich enough but he kept going thinking how cool he is and ''hard'' for discovering a BUG...and in his interview he's extremely big headed, he doesn't deserve to be a ''legend'' or any type of respect.

Who cares how many people he killed, look at it this way..

There's a party hat on the ground, you pick it up and notice there's loads of other rare items.. You wouldn't just pick the party hat up and leave the rest you would pick as many as you could up.
So what if he had to kill people to get the items. He's banned now, he has had his fun.

God, He was getting rares for free by killing people that couldn't fight back, so I compared it to picking rares of from the floor, you wouldn't stop after picking up 1 good item you would carry on..

OMG.

You can't compare that with killing PLAYERS THAT WORKED HARD FOR THEIR RARES. Rares laying on floor isn't killing players and taking things they've worked hard for now is it? -.- It would be different if he'd do that in wildy..because people WOULD of know that they can get pked etc., A LOT of people that he killed lost almost everything so please don't compare that to anything..like I said, he spent too much time killing players. It's unfair to them.
