Im really worried about my friend Sarah who you may know ;[
She wants to commit suicide and i think she's trying now from what she's said,, she's slitting her wrists.. Im crying. I really dont want her to die
I REALLY REALLY REALLY DONT</3
What should i say and do.
Im going away and she might be dead when i get back ;[

Tell your parents so they can tell hers, comfort her and talk it over with her and see what has gone wrong and tell her ways to make it better or get over something , if her mind is %100 made up and she is going to go forward with it tell her parents or maybe police.
If her l;ife is miserable how over sad you may get then maybe klet her go through with it , if she sees no reason to live and is not happy and she waants her life over then maybe just let her, its her life choice

When people commit suicide it's usually for a few reasons;
1) Because they've had such a bad life and it's too much to go on.
But this is flawed because people have great lives over here in comparison to 3rd world countries. If it's -Illusions well she has a computer infront of her - I don't see many Africans with one of those infront of them ;/ Especially considering they can barely afford food let alone education or a luxury like the computer. Some people really don't know what they have and take it for granted. Tell you what would be a fairly alrite reason to commit suicide - Being raped/molested as a child and becoming traumatised. Not that the person should commit suicide but that is a really bad thing to happen to someone =/ Sick people that commit these crimes should get life. But getting bullied or whatever isn't much of a reason to commit suicide. Your in school at minimum of 16. Once your out at 16 you can go to college where you don't know anyone and make loads of friends and get rid of the bullies. Sure bullying is bad but heck people could have it much worse "/ I mean come on, it's not like we're starving or something. Plus I see it in the perspective that no matter how bad our lives are now when we reach 18[which is like 2-5 years for most] we can do what we want to change our life for the best.
2) People also do it for attention.
This is often because people may be not the focus of attention anymore or are simply looking for more attention as they crave it.
3) It's also done for care -
People want more care from their parents/friends and to accomplish this they will resort to pretending to commit suicide or even attempting it. By attempting it they will receive immense care and be extremely well looked after by friends/family if they feel they need some extra attention.
What you need to do is work out if any of your friend is in that case and just follow procedures as normal.
Most people that commit suicide wouldn't bother telling anyone unless it's left in a note before the attempt, let alone on MSN or whatever. I'd geuss that your friend made this up in a desperate bid for attention, and you may be going along with this by posting it on a forum or again may not. I sure as heck know my friends aren't attention seekers from what they have gone through and the brave face they put on and talked to me about it and if they were to commit suicide I know for a fact that I wouldn't post it on a forum asking for help but hurry the hell over to their house and run as fast as possible or whatever making sure I took my mobile phone if needed.

Im new to habbox forum, but i hope my advice helps since im kind of experienced. Craigs right, plus if she was going to commit suicide, why would she tell anyone? She would just get it over with and die. Probably for attention. But then again, it could be for real. Did she show any signs it wasnt for attention? I would tell her parents, or get in contact with the police. Because no matter how much a person looks happy, they could be putting a smile on to make others think they are fine. Tell her parents/guardians, call her, im not entirely sure you know her in real life, but it says your cousins on your signature... if she is online when your back, hopefully she will be, i see she is inactive at the moment, but she could just be watching TV, talk too her, and tell her you were crying, and how scary it must of been? Did she show any signs of suicidal thoughts before this incident? If so, you should try persuading her to speak too someone who can help her, if she has had previous help, tell her, not ask, tell her that their is always someone who can help, no matter how much they disbelieve that. Your probably pretty shaken up, if she is not on in a day or two, i advise calling the police, because she could of been serious. I hope she didnt do it, ill be praying for her, and thinking of her. Of course no one wants anyone too die, if they do, they are sick in the head, because thats seriously wrong too want someone too die. I hope your ok though, if your the only one she told, she should listen too you, shes probably reconsidering it, well the probably is always their, so dont keep your hopes up, she could of commited suicide by now, but thats just a 50/50 chance. I hope she is ok, and i hope you are ok aswell, just keep hoping, she may just need time too relax, and calm down. Thats sometimes the case. I hope i helped, goodluck, and im praying as i said.
Self harm maybe a form of attention seeking, suicide is definitely not! One may slash their wrists or arms in order for people to fuss over them; but actual suicide is far more serious and must be taken very seriously.Quote:

Which too me isnt attention seeking, id want my closest friend too know if i was going to commit suicide, should i ever, because they would be worried about you. Maybe thats what she did. About the attention seeking thing, I'd say it doesn't matter even if it is attention seeking, because people who do things like this for attention obviously need that attention and need help rather than criticism. I've always said that cutting is attention seeking on a subconscious level if nothing else, no matter what reasons the person has to offer. Sarah passionately disagrees with that but I feel it's true and therefore think that there will always be a way to stop cutting, if only the cutter can find what it is that they're missing from life.

Apparantly shes okay now. Basically, I didn't see the need for this forum as any advice myself and others offered was throwing back in our faces and we were simply told we didn't kno what we were talking about and what had gone on. If that was the case, what was the point in creating the thread asking for our advice in the first place?
Also, a few arguments are starting to come out of this, so it's also being closed to prevent them.
