Because some have been deleted.
What, 11,000 lol?
Habbox dont delete accounts Move-Along.
I guess so =]. lol I am sure it would have been 30,000 earlier without hacking etc. So then they wouldn't have to keep uploading backups so a few 100 people had to re-register again.
Edit* --> Yea they do they prune old ones what arn't used anymore and if they havent activated their account in so long.
If Sierk says there was 30k then there was 30k. Probably there was 11k on the previous forum?
No some have been pruned :). There was like 3,000 pruned last time.
We do delete accounts, every so often we delete accounts which haven't signed on for a while or have no posts. The 30,000th member has a user id of 30,000. The number at the bottom of the forum is the number after people have been pruned.Quote:

I delete accounts which have not logged in since 2004, with no posts and no pm's.
We also delete unverified accounts which havent been verified for over a year.
But despite this it still means we have had the 30,000th person register.
The userid is based on an auto number, which means it is always +1 from the last persons registered userid.
This means if we have 1000 members and we delete the ones with userid 4 - 75, the next registered user will have the userid 1001 rather than filling in the userid slots 4 - 75
So essentially despite what it says at the bottom, 30,000 accounts have registered on this forum since its opening.
