He stopped making them but, we haven't seen about 10 more episodes!
And he stopped making them for the movie in 2006!
If he didn't stop he could'nt afford the simpsons movie!

I thought matt greoning was making them for 2 more seasons then quiting all together, the was only one thing which was better than the simpsons (cartoon wise) and that was Futurama, but matt greoning stopped that after 4 seasons. That would of been bigger than the simpsons if it had come along first.
I used to love simpson's but since they've been repeting old one's, I've stopped watching :/
that class that show, you watch epersode's (sp) what you already watch and you still laugh they never get old

The Simpsons is a great show, but the episodes have gradually gone downhill after season 5. However, after seeing some of the season 16 eps, I think it is starting to pick up again.
da simpsons r great but as they saying goes, all good thngs must end, the simpsons ave got a limted amount ov time until the script wears out, and it loses it, but they will b shown on tv 4 da nex 10 years at least, but u got 2 accept it, everything as 2 come 2 an end, and the simpsons r reaching it
They still have a few more years left, well, there'll be at least 19 seasons, maybe even 21 or 22, and a movie, if not a series of movies
