Yeah So i was going to make a sunset on the top right but maybe that isnt the best idea.
Any of you think something else would go better?
and on the giraffe should I re do it and put red doormats under it?

Third, if possible put around some type of poster (maybe rainforest) around the room to make it look more outdoorish.
Ok on the other side i'd put lodge bars to make a barrier from the giraffe to the people, and i'd probably just put some benches and drink machines (maybe mocha or samovar) around to make it look like a sitting area so people can drink and look at the giraffe.

I actually made it so you can walk up on top of the giraffe so people need to be near it.
I know the paint doenst really fit but I already had the room painted like that and thought I mite be able to let it slide.

Oh, i never knew why the doormats were red. If your going to make it like a desert, then i think you should put in the sunset, it'd look better actually, but um, if you can you should try and change the paint.Quote:

The reason the sky is light blue like that is that is how it is in every picture of africa and giraffes I could find.

Im sorry but i think the pines ruined it. No offence it just doesnt look right ? Maybe not use so many and switch a few for yukkas ? Pinapples to me remindme of the medittaranien not the desert. However yukkas do :)

I suggest Adding Some Bosnias And Some Yellow rugs After all you normally find them on Desert/Sandy areas like a Camel
Maybe even add 1 or 2 petals dont go overboard otherwise it gets to Crazy lol umm.. Dunno what else to add

The 'red hat' looks a little random i must say but im not quite sure what to suggest you replace it with as i think i know what effect you were going for with it, the hcs that have been added dont really suit the room, they may be in the right colour scheme but they defeat the realism, yukkas with with pines would look good as would a sunset poster surrounded by rainforests or himalayas ;)

I took off the red "hat"
and you can see the HCs
I know the HCs dont really fit in but It is good for people to be sitting rather then wondering around and blocking the paths.
I dont think it will get into the comp so i dont really want to trade for a bunch of posters and yukkas.
Anyways
if theres any quick ideas I might change it a little but I kinda dont want to spend too much more time on it.

Hmm ive said it before and ill say it again, W-O-W. I saw the room before it was finished and it looked good, but now its finished it looks amazing. Heres a idea for you, if you want to do ski slopes, DO THEM, your stacking capabilities in my thoughts would create a "Killer" slope with some white mats, you could easily make them into a sloping kind of wave with the techniques ive saw you do..
river would be nice
at the top put a small watterfall stream from the top down to where the giraffes legs are?

and I found out that I need more seats for people or things get cloged up.
So I made a grassy hill.

i love this room, and the hcs look great much better than when it was just the 4.
i can't believe you didnt get in, you should enter it for another country because it deserves to be in the top 10 at some point. I'm sure staff didn't check the rooms this week, looking at the ones they chose it must be some sort of random selection process.
Well i am absolutely amazed that it didn't. Its so original , innovative
and the effort that has gone in is enormous. The room that won has some
good design features but some that don't blend in at all. Hope there is a country that you can enter it for again. I didn't realise that Angola was last week and I am really shocked.:(

this room is better than all your other stacking rooms, because its actually a room, not a showcase of stacking, which i beleive is what Habbo are looking for as a winning room.

Since alot of people say it looks like a camel I think I will make one of the humps bigger and call it a camel and put desert cactuses and stuff around.....
