Should I buy a xbox 360?
I don't want to spend to much on it because I'm saving money up for a car once I done my test next year.
I got like £100-150 atm but I can get like £500-800 for my runescape stuff, so do you think I should get a 360? or buy another ps2?

Nah it wasn't working to good anyway, like when you put a cd in it takes 5-10 mins to load on the system browser screen so not to bothered about buying a new 1

Hmm, my mate has an Xbox360 and he says they're good, but I'd wait for either a Nintendo wii or just get a new ps2, maybe the slimline.

Wii doesn't intrest me at all, I looked at the games and it's like mario and stuff, they are prob fun for some people but I like games like pro evo where you can play with m8s
My friend has got a normal xbox and whenever I go round we play halo which is one of my fav games, but can someone with a 360 tell me if it's worth it?
I got one on Wednesday.
I'd say it's good, i'm not sure whether it's worth £280 though.
Although, the games are expensive which is a downside.
Don't buy another PS2 though, as when the PS3 comes out, your stumped.
Buy a next-gen console, preferably 360 as it has online play enabled which is the best feature of the 360 imo, along with the outstanding attention to detail on the games.
Wait for a ps3, they will be the best, or buy one off a mate who is waiting for the Ps3 and needs some cash, im sure theyd give it to you for about £50-£60, i would.

Well the games I like are on the 360 & ps3 i think, so there's not much point paying double the price for a ps3..
I don't really want this thread to be turned into a xbox vs playstation vs nintendo like most other threads here lol.

You need a hard drive 60 gig to play alot of games,It has wireless controllers and it has silver disk i think

@ Tightened & United - I know what you're saying, I would like a ps3 but it's not right for me.. It's not out for Christmas and when it does come out I will hopefully be looking to buy a car.
With the xbox it has the games I want & I will be able to get it for Christmas.
@ Brody - I do have loads of games for the ps2 but my newest one is pro evo lol, it's the only one I play. I'm going to see if I can get anything for my old games at a game shop.

Listen mate, because the console had a nasty fall doesn't mean that it's completely -beeped- but just simply remove the small rubber and plastic protector square things on the bottom of the console, un's'c'r'e'w the s'c'r'e'w's, remove the PS2 lid off carefully and take a look inside to see if anything has gone loose.. If something looks wrong then put it right, that's how i learnt.
If Microsoft change the controller of the Xbox/Xbox360, then I'd switch to Microsoft from $ony anyday.

How can you get a Playstation3 online for free? You can't...
And, XBOX360 isn't bugged if it was made after Christmas 2005, after that - all the problems was sorted out and now it is fine.
I'm liking the delaystation though.
It's coming out same day as HALO3, or damn close near it - competition, obviously HALO3 will win as it's a game and therefore cheaper...
EDIT- Didn't know you ment online play - my bad.
I may aswell close the thread now because i've decided on the 360 :P
