I've heard that before, it's the worst to hear it, cause when they're mad it's cause you did something stupid but when they're disappointed it's like beyond stupid and it makes you feel bad.
my parents have never said that to me.
Nope because im not naughty (cough cough). That often.
Not heard that one
I get these though
"I'm hungry"
"Well i'm angry" (My dads got an irish accent so they sound the same)
It means I'm annoyed at you but I havent the energy to shout. ;)
Nope, I never get told that one...
I saw that one on Arthur xD
Ergh, i hate that sentance.
Yes, they over use it..
It used to be effective but now it's like erm.. so last year?
I hate "You cant have your cake and eat it too". It makes no sense at all. Does that mean you can eat your cake, but not have it? God that annoys me.
But yeah, my parents have said that one.
I got reaaally drunk about 3 years ago and came in at 6am. My dad was there shaking his head. I was like 'Please shout or ground me' but no, he keeps on shaking..
I never hear it from my parents really, I've heard lots of people use it though.
my parents always say it to my sister :}
NO LOL, I love that phrase, I don't care if they are frikking disappointed with me, I only care that they aren't angry :]]
I've only heard other people say it, like on tv
i saw it on arthur when he waz a norty boi and i cried
I cringe when it's said.
