Lola sat staring at the plate on her table. She looked around at the seats around her but no one was sat near her. They never did. She'd change that. Soon they wouldn't laugh, tease and hurt her. They'd fear her. She'd stop the hate, the teasing. It would all end. Tonight.
She'd always been different. Liked different things, clothes, music. She didn't wear makeup. She was into dark clothes. She'd been teased at her old school, thats why she'd moved to this new school. Only it wasn't any better. She still got teased. Had her things stolen, infact it was worse than her old school. Atleast there it was never physical. She'd been told she was worthless. That no one would love her, that she was emo scum that should die. Despite this she never went to self harm, she knew they would find out and tease her more. She hated life at school, but soon she'd be able to get on. As a normal kid.
"Look, poor lonely emo kids on her own! What a reject," Shouted the leader of the group, Mandy. Her and her group advanced towards Lola, she thought about running but there was 10 of them and 2 of them were the fastest in her year. Besides, she sucked at sports. She closed her eyes and waited for them to reach her. She kept strong by reminding herself it would be over tomorrow. It would have ended. Mandy and her gang reached Lola and Mandy forced her to her feet.
"I'm talking to you," she said shaking Lola. Lola looked up, saw Mandys face and smirked at her own private joke.
"What are you laughing at dirt," Mandy said throwing Lola to the grounded and stamping hard on her foot. Lola's eyes closed in pain. One of Mandys biggest friends grabbed Lola by the arm and pulled it hard. Mandy kicked her in the stomach and her other friends egg'd her on.
The bell rung and Mandy spat at Lola.
"Just you wait till tomorrow, I'll give you more than a bloody nose," Mandy said before punching her in the nose and walking off. Lola staggered up and held her nose. She began to make her way home, she was pleased to see her mum and dad where out again, and probaly wouldn't be back till the early hours of the morning. That gave her enough time to do what she had to. She went inside and found her mum's protection gun. She smiled as she played with the tirgger. Soon it would be over.
Several gun shots sounded and a scream sounded through the park. Mandy went limp and fell. Lola scrambled out of the bush and screamed at the others. "Leave me alone. I've had enough. What did I ever do to you?". Lola still had the gun in her hands and was shaking like mad. The rest of the gang where sat staring at Lola, and the gun. No one moved as Lola swayed the gun from person to person.
"If you ever touch me again, I'll kill you," Lola shouted. She glanced and noticed the one that had tugged at her arm at lunch. She aimed her gun and said, "This is for what happend at school, you stupid cowards,". There was a crunching of leaves and Lola span around quickly. Just as she did the girl that had been aimed at jumped up and kicked her in the back. She took the gun and shot her in the leg so she couldn't get up.
"I always knew emo's where stupid scum," she spat at her before stamping on her stomach and kicking her already bleeding leg.
"You may think your tough with a gun, but if you make it through tonight, your life is going to be hell," the girl spat at Lola. She shot another bullet into Lolas arm and stamped on her one last time.
Lola lay waiting for the footsteps to die away. When she was sure they where gone she shed a tear. She'd tried to stop it and know it was worse. the pain in her arm and leg spread throught her body. The worst part of this was that she'd killed to stop it. And it hadn't. Lola wrote a confession in the mud with the last of her strength, it read
"I'm sorry, I killed Mandy. But before you judge me hear my story. She and her gang made my life hell, when you find me tell my mum and dad I loved them. Even if they where never there. And talked to me like a burden. I hated life, school and home, well now it's over. Lisa tried to kill me, and I'm not sure if she would have. I'm not sticking around to find out. I'm ending it, now". Lola took the gun put it too her heart and pulled the trigger. A finally gun shot rang around the park, and Lola had enough time to scream
"It's over,". A chilling silence fell upon the park and the rain began to hit the two bodys.
