Hmmmm, I like it :) I think you should make a slab that is just black, so you can make wider paths! Good idea, very original to say the lease.

Yes indeed, add a whole black slab.
And maybe making different colours/textures?
Eg. Cobble, Cement etc.
Also raise the curb more.
