I give all accounts a random email...
Well my accounts (clones) all had the same email... yet 1 of them had creds on... none of them are verified, and i only got 2 per PC...
I rekon its IP/computer address, so if you mask it or get a proxy with a FREE "POST" action you can check. I can't find one though :'(

Due to my routed network of the 3 computers in the house and the "mainframe" thing being somewhere else... if I connect to another wireless network another day and try it, will the clones have credits? All our computeres have the same IP, mine sometimes masks it's-self, different website tell me 3 different IPs LOL... and when I go on the clones and accounts from my sisters' computer they don't work!??!
We of course have different computer addresses... but maybe it's both IP and computer address?!?

I am sure it is e-mail adress as I did 3 accounts with the same addy and only 2 got the credits how ever for the other accounts I got free creds !
well i had around 10clones and they all got creds :) they all had 1 of either 2 emails and were all verified.

It can't be IP address because I'm on AOL, and all AOL members in one area have the same IP adress.
All of my accounts got 5 creds, lmao, 30 X5 = 150,. im waiting for them to be tradeable ;)
Well, many people think it's email. I have 13 accounts with the same E-mail but the first one I logged onto got credits, the rest didnt :S

i got creds on my clones and they all got the same email, and everything
i think its something to do with how many times u have logged on because on accounts ive registered and never used they never got the creds

So... if ive been on number 3 the most... then why did that not get credits and ive only been on number 7 4/5 times, and that got credits??

It gives you 5 credits on the account IF:
- you have accessed the account IN 2006, so if you last went on a clone in 2005 you WONT GET THE CREDITS. [ i have tried this ]
AND
- you have VERIFIED the account [ie. when you registered, clicked the link in the email you received] if you haven't no credits
you need both of the above to get 5 credits.
so far i've remembered 12 accounts that have fit them criterias ^

I think you received the creds if your account was verified or if you registered an account some time ago. The rest of the options that you mentioned sound like rubbish to me though.

i've tried accounts from 05' didnt work , even though i'd verified them
nothing to do with IP's, email, etc.
its if you have verified n logged on the account in 06'

All been on at the same time, all made at the same time.
So why did only the FIRST ONE i went on get credits?!
I only got 2 of my accounts with 5 free creds. Both of them are of the same e-mail so it can't be e-mail. I think your account gets 5 free creds when you have logged in 2 or 3 months before they released the free creds.
Only 3 of my accounts got the 5 credits
