Well infractions are needed for logging your rule breakings automatically instead of having to write a report and then pm you about it. Either way rule breakings have and always will be logged :).

To the guy that posted before me, he actually does have one :p.

and before we had user notes. same idea just lot's of typing involved.

i hate 15 infractions and 9 warnings and been temp banned. tbh i dont care and ill just make a new account if im permed.

u dont see me making threads like OMG I HATE INFRACTIONS WHO ELSE DOES!!!!

u break the rules, u deal with the consequences. dont like it, LEAVE THE FORUM AND DONT COMPLAIN

Infractions makes it a lot easier on mods to report and reccord rule breakers.

Meh i never knew we used to have usernotes the only thing that annoys me is= i got infracted wrongly because i told someone an alteration was ripped i forgot to show proof and then showed it in a later post so i dont get why i was infracted could someone explain

Meh, I got an infraction for asking for rep, yet I read the whole "Reputation Information" and "Reputation Problems" in the rules and it says nothing about that being bad.

I'm for infractions, because if we didn't have them, they'd probably suspend us right away or ban us, lol.

-sigh-. Just deal with it. I own a vBulletin forum and if people rule break, i give infractions. Simple as that. If they continue then its a ban. So meh.

He wasn't talking to you?

Infractions make you more aware of your rule breaking. like you said, you weren't even aware that there was the usernotes system.

It is those peoples' faults if they break the rules and rule breaking has to be dealt with.

I have already explained this infraction to you. It was fair, and the Super Moderators agree :).

I don't have any infractions, and I know a good number of people who don't have any either. They are there to log rule breaking, so if you don't want them, don't break rules.

I think Infractions are better, Habbox used to log them down in user notes (I think) so it makes no difference. Just makes it quicker and easier to organise bans so on.

C13. Do not ask for reputations points directly or indirectly - Do not make a post or a thread or send a pm asking for someone to give you reputation points. This also holds for your signature.

I think you'll find you may have just read the FAQ, you are required to follow the rules and not the FAQ :).
