Could be loads and loads of things, Not enough of a certain mineral/vitimain, not enough sleep or the scariest one a neuroligical problem... go the doctors instead of asking people who don't have a medical degree on a forum...?
If it's been going on for a long time, you're best to see a doctor.
I asked a science teacher about that once. What it is is ur spirit returning to your body after its seen something in future happening (deja vu).
Well I get it often aswell and I have deja vu like all time sooo....
Different beliefs =]
I call it an ******.

I somtimes get it when i touch metalic things..
I have shivers that get me, Like if im standing or sitting, a quick little shiver runs up my spine. Its not because im cold or anything, it just happens.. It happens like once every 2 days or so.
its a muscle spasim it happens if your not highly active then all of a sudden you do something that increases ur level of activity. it also happens if you do nothing for a long period of time then all of a sudden do something big such as walk around for a couple minutes then go back into a relaxed state. its basically your muscle stimulating itself. i usually get them after i play soccer.
apparently my teacher said its something to do with epilepsy, i get it too but ive never been told im epileptic
It ususally happens to me when I pee.
LOL, don't worry about it, I get it all the time, makes me laugh *****, I like wait up and jolt, it's pretty fun (l)
Uh...I have no idea what to say right now...:sQuote:

That happans to me sort of. When in bed, and think about things and sometimes I just suddenly trip over when thinking about it and my body shakes and I can hear my bed smash against the wall. It hasn't happned to me in a while however.
It's when you start to dream but your body hasn't triggered the hormones to relax your muscles, so your body tries to move like it's moving in your dream.
Same happens with sleep walking, but because you're onlu just falling asleep you wake up and get a shock, but when you're sleep walking you stay asleep so you don't jump.
Happens to me sometimes when i pee, when im bored :s , when im asleep and get like a ping pong ball thrown at me or i fall of a cliff i wake up with a huge shake
I thought it was your pulse and your feel it in some major arteries.
When I'm about 5 mins asleep, I dream that I trip over a rock and I get a jolt.
Dunno what it is though.
Lmao i know exactly wat u mean about the jolt, it is like an electric bolt going up your spine- I onli get it really wen im asleep or about to fall asleep.
And lol wen im dreaming and im walking dwn stairs and i miss a step in ma dream it sooo funni. It like a big shock.
Lmao i get these all the time, and deja vu... interesting.
I sometimes get them when dreaming. :s
i sometimes get em, i also get em if im like thinkin bout stuff then i drift off and like im falling and just as im about 2 hit the ground i jolt, its weird (i dont get em as much anymore except the random jolts i still get) the 1 that i mainly used to get was like a swimming pool 1 and i'd swim and then i look up and im about 2 hit the wall :s Odd....
Loool. Interesting suggestions, I haven't read the full thread so don't flame me if this has already been posted. It's probably just your body 'switching off'.
never felt it either :PQuote:
supposedly it happens to every boy when he pee's but i can never feel it, ah well
Its normal! Its just the activities in your body. Like when your nearly asleep and you think your falling and you move your leg really quickly without control.
Nearly everyone gets it!
I don't get jolts...
I do feel like I'm falling and my bed lowers... Very weird...
I get that alot when i fall asleep but soemtimes i get it in class at school when my teachers shouts at me and tells me to wake up
