I don't know many people at my college, but the ones i know that are gay have came out i think.
I don't think they're is a problem with it, if you want to come out, you should and if people can't accept you for who you are, then they aren't your friends/worth your time.

There are so many people who are racest to muslims. Just because someone is Muslim doesnt mean they are going to blow you up, kill you because of your religion. Have you ever been to a muslim country. If you have you will know that there are loads of gay people in them (expt 1). You are very Niave. My friends brother lives in Egypt and is out gay there, I have been there, seen him. There is no prejustis. The media just like to stur ** to help them make money. 76% of british newspapers/mags are owned by the same guy. He is the one that decides what opinion to show- Thousands of Palastinions getting blown up by us/uk armys, or Jewish forces trying to get them out the country, Or 3 Muslims went on a day trip to London and had footage of them getting off the train at Kings Cross St.Pancras station (if you live in London you will know that it is the 2nd biggest train station, litrally millions go through there locally, nationally, and internationaly) So it must have been them who killed... what was it 82 people.
Muslim people do not blow people up. If you are niave enough to beleve that... well... Do you really think a holy book tells people to blow people up??

I'm out to my close friends and family, but i dont feel the need to declare it to the whole school. If someone asks me if i'm gay i just ask them whether it's really any of their business.
1 SCENE guy whos 14 came out as being bi although he is wayy gay.
No-one has in my year or **** cos I don't think any are, well maybe the odd 1 or 2.

There are 3 or 4 people at my school that have come out. They more or less became celebrities haha. Our school isn't intollerant of gay people. We have gay teachers and everything. I'm kinda lucky i guess.
I duno anyone whos actualy come out in the time ive known them/of them, although i know of quite a few people at my collage who are openly gay, so i guess they must have come out, to some people, at some point i suppose o.0

1 Girl admitted she was lesbian.
In my year there has been 1 boy who has came out, his name is glenn. Hes a gothic boy but hes quite fit actually, in a wierd sort of way.
Im the girl who came out as bisexual.
So far there are 2 other people we suspect of being gay / lesbian, but they havnt came out.
Its our last year at school so i think some will be coming out pretty shortly
At my old school, most people in the year knew, and there were numerous gay & bisexual people so bullying within the year wasn't an issue.
I'm not out at college because there's loads of really homophobic people (strange, because everything else is much more liberal compared to school), but I don't know whether thats because of the area (my school was in Buckinghamshire, but I moved to Bristol for college).
wow. when I read the first post, I was like, "Come out of what?" The first thing I thought of was graduation. But then why would u care how many people have graduated from my school.
Lol, so far, I have never personally met a single gay person. Ive seen cross dressers and stuff but not much else. I find them intriguing by the way.
My school is really small (30 pupils in the year) and one person came out.
Two in my year, five or six in the school. Being gay is like another thing which is talked about, its topical conversation for the month or so after someone comes out.
I'm one of two.

none at all, in my school (old school now) there was ONE openly gay guy. There used to be two, but one left automatically after 6th year.
Scotland is alot more homophobic than anywhere else in britain tbh.

um...i havn't really heard of anybody coming out, but i did...it was all over school for like 2 weeks...you know its nothing...people don't tease you, they mind there own bussiness, but if they are jerks and do end up teasing you you can ignore em,walk away, or just tell them off so badly that they won't ever bother you again. All those have worked for me, but see i only had to deal with one person. I think that you should just come out when you are ready to, start telling your closest friends and family first and then you can go on from there. I don't think anyone in my area would even dream of coming out really, cause most of the kids in my school anyways would bully them, and they always make jokes about people being gay etc.
But i've only been in my school for like a year and a bit so I wouldn't know, but from what I know, no one in my school is gay/has come out yet.
