Training Ranging

I've got level 33 ranging. What should I use to train?

Bow? Crossbow? Knives? etc.

hmm, what i would do, is try them all to see what gives me the best xp.

alternatively, think about what is the quickest to make ammo wise.

i'd probably go for the crossbow, the disadvantage being that you get less bolts per bar than arrow heads, but the advantages being that you dont have to spend ages making arrowshafts, then adding feathers, then adding the arrowheads. with bolts you just smith the bolts, add feathers and you're ready to go. providing you have the right crossbow for the bolts you are using

use bows, buy the arrows cheeply. Use steel ones, or make if you can its not that hard to make a couple thousand arrows.

If u done Dawrf cannon use a cannon

* Cannon = 600:
* Cannonballs = 200 Each

U can get knives there fast.

Buy Bow and Steel arrows and go safe.

i buy iron arrows from ranging guild for 3-10gp each. i buy about 2k and then go to pc but i'd sugest buying a small amount and training on low level monsters until you're 40-50

Knives and darts are fastest [Darts are fastest weapon on rs at 1/8th second faster then knives :p]

Bow and arrow probably cheapest so its up to you.
Maybe kill hill giants to make some money back off the bones to and always collect ur arrows/knives/darts back.

DO NOT CANNON WHEN UR OVER 40 RANGE! WASTE OF MONEY

Bow with Steel Arrows, Steel arrows dont cost much and are pretty quick exp believe it or not.

Knifes are quick and alot of people say they're quicker xp but im not sure they are n ive found they hit less then bow n arrows.

Wouldnt even bother with Crossbow lol

Darts are by far the quickest just cost abit more then arrows/bolts/knifes
