So who is Stig From BBC Top gear?

Have you ever wondered who the "stig" from BBC Top gear is...?
Perry McCarthy appeared in 2002 and 2003 on the BBC's Top Gear motoring show as The Stig, a masked, anonymous, racing driver.

He's raced in Formula One, competed in the legendary Le Mans 24 hours and battled for honours at Sebring, but in the career of Perry McCarthy – dubbed by some as ‘the world's unluckiest driver' – one thing must surely stand head and shoulders above the rest.
And that thing? Taking on the role of the mysterious ‘Stig' on popular British motoring show Top Gear.

Top Gear will be back on 28 January, 8pm on BBC Two :D Wonder what Geremy & James have to say to Richard :P

THANKS FOR THE DATE! glad i got freeview :]. and yeah i knew it was perry mcarthey on them dates i had a look on net b4. Im still trying to find who it is now. I have a hunch its damon hill lol.

P.S. i like mcarthey's finale where he jumped off aircraft carrier :].

'The Stig' was the person who drove all the cars around the track to set their track times. He always was masked and ha a helmet on.. So you could never see him.

Yeah. He drives all sorts of things. He drove a renault F1 car round the track once.
