New Hollyoaks opening titles :)

Teen soap Hollyoaks will shortly be launching a new title sequence.

The new creative, to highlight the young, glamorous and sexy image of the show, will be going out on C4 on Monday February 26 at 6.30pm.

In-house graphic designer Simon Cox worked on the visuals with composer Steve Wright giving the shows recognizable theme tune a bit of a revamp.

Bosses of the hit C4 soap then challenged students at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts to add a contemporary twist to the tune with winning student Mark Beaney coming up with a 30-second jingle.

Already attracting nearly four million viewers per episode the shows new image looks set to secure even more success.

Producer Bryan Kirkwood said: “I’m delighted with our new titles; they reflect the show perfectly and will appeal directly to our viewers. We’ve got the best-looking cast on TV and now our titles echo that – young, glamorous and sexy!”

Well ye they're the only people I can think of, and that girl who was going out with that dude who used to have long hair, still needs an update.

Saw it today at 7 on E4. I think it's really good. The old one needed to be updated because alot of them aren't in it anymore.

The new one sucks, just like an out of character photo shoot.

The images are better on the new one but I don't like the tune.

I liked the old one.
The one before that was rubbish, got boring.
But this one is reeally good now, i love the music to the pictures/vids of it.
Its great :D

images are great, and in between breaks it varies etc, but the tune should be the original, im not sure if it fits?

they were taking the mick out of them on t4 this morning & tbf, they were right. where is the old people?

i prefer the old titles. simply because they remind me of how amazing hollyoaks was in 04/05 before the sodding Barnes family arrived :@
