Yes...They always have been easter eggs, almost everything has easter eggs, Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones even has one that's easy, when they are in the arena thing Anakin Obi Wan and Padmé are all being executed when the clones come down Homer Simpson is flying one of the shipsQuote:

Easter Eggs in media originates from Easter and easter egg hunting, it's just a bit of fun you have to hunt for and easter eggs was probably the best choice in name because it makes senseQuote:
