He's right, it will itch. And it'll probably grow back really fast and much thicker than before. I heard waxing is better but that'd probably hurt ten times more.

Either way, don't go ahead with it if your ultimately not comfortable about it. It's a perfectly normal thing though which many people do, do. It most likely will itch a lot though and could irritate you, so make sure your aware of the consequences are willing to undergo them.
Just trimming it slightly is way much better. You made one of the biggest mistakes in your life, just hope it grows back quick. Try keeping stuff away from that region that could irritate it cos it will itch more. Gutted man.

Rofl I'm tempted to get my whole body shaved.. but firstly I do think I have to start at my lower regions, front and back. :P It sucks to be hairy, really it does..
